Description: |
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of The Blue Mountains (the “Town”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Engineering Services for Arrowhead and Camperdown Booster Pumping Stations Improvements, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Town is undertaking one RFP for consultant contract administration and construction monitoring related to three (2) interrelated projects. All scopes of work will be priced separately since it is anticipated the construction time will not align between projects. Camperdown Booster Pumping Station (BPS) Improvements - The Town is seeking Consultant Engineering Services to identify deficiencies and complete review of the long-term pump station capacity requirements at the Camperdown BPS and then follow up with detail engineering phase. Arrowhead Booster Pumping Station (BPS) Improvements - The Town is seeking Consultant Engineering Services to execute interim pump station upgrades until the long-term water storage and supply has been completed. The Town of The Blue Mountains is Canada’s second fastest growing municipality and serves as home to over 9,300 full-time residents, with an extensive part-time and seasonal population. Recognized as Ontario’s true four-season tourism and recreation destination, The Blue Mountains welcomes an additional 2.5 million visitors annually and offers a high-quality lifestyle that caters to families looking to build a solid foundation, adventurers looking to go off the beaten path and relaxation seekers taking in and experiencing the very best the area has to offer. Built on a strong foundation of agriculture and tourism, the success of the local economy has been driven largely by innovation and entrepreneurship across the sectors of agriculture, tourism, construction, small business and hospitality and service. |
