| Description: |
This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of the Blue Mountains (the “Town”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Generator Installation at Beaver Valley Community Centre and Arena as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Town is seeking one Contractor to complete design-conforming installation of a fully integrated standby power system. The Town will supply generator and transfer switches, and the Contractor will complete electrical distribution upgrades, and modifications to existing infrastructure, resulting in a complete and operational emergency power supply for both the Beaver Valley Community Centre and Arena. Located between the Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Georgian Bay, the Town of The Blue Mountains is recognized as a premier four‑season destination offering a lifestyle as diverse as its natural surroundings. Whether establishing roots, seeking adventure, or enjoying relaxation and wellness, the community provides an exceptional quality of life. The Town is home to more than 9,300 full‑time residents and welcomes approximately 2.5 million visitors annually, along with a significant part‑time and seasonal population. It offers small‑town charm supported by modern services and amenities. The local economy is shaped by agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, recreation, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit reflected in a dynamic business community.
