This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of the Blue Mountains (the “Town”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Two (2) New Walk Behind, Hybrid, Floating Head Greens Mowers with two (2) New Transport Trailers, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix C) (the “Deliverables”). The Town of The Blue Mountains owns and operates Tomahawk Golf Course, a municipal public golf facility within the Town’s parks, recreation, and community services operations. The course serves residents and visitors and supports the Town’s provision of recreational amenities and community infrastructure. The Town is issuing this Tender for the supply of new greens mowers to be deployed at Tomahawk Golf Course. The greens mowers will be used in the routine maintenance of the course putting greens and are intended to support the Town’s operational requirements for turf quality, equipment reliability, and service delivery. The Town requires a full training session on equipment operations and general maintenance on the day of delivery. Delivery and training to be scheduled with the Manager of Recreation Facilities and Facilities Maintenance. Located between the Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Georgian Bay, the Town of The Blue Mountains is recognized as a premier four season destination offering a lifestyle as diverse as its natural surroundings. Whether establishing roots, seeking adventure, or enjoying relaxation and wellness, the community provides an exceptional quality of life. The Town is home to more than 9,300 full time residents and welcomes approximately 2.5 million visitors annually, along with a significant part time and seasonal population. It offers small town charm supported by modern services and amenities. The local economy is shaped by agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, recreation, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit reflected in a dynamic business community. |
